About Medios Group History Founded in 1995, Medios was one of the first companies in Finland to offer Java development and specialize solely on internetworking technologies. We quickly became known for our expertise and dependability among our clients, including Nokia, Sonera and Satama. In 1999 we participated in establishing Njet Communications, an open-source business, which created the Anvil programming language. Njet offered innovative software services primarily to Sonera and Nokia. In 2000 we established Medios Consulting, a new business specializing in supplying Hungarian software engineering expertise and resources. Medios Consulting offers highly-professional software services mainly to Satama and Nokia. In 2001 we teamed with Arkkivoltti to develop high usability content management and e-learning solutions to YLE. In 2002 our key developers were hired by Nokia Ventures, where we developed a new mobile connectivity service for corporations, which was later moved to Nokia's Enterprise Solutions. In 2004 the original founder Jaripekka Salminen returned to Medios. We continue working in a network of small companies, offering dynamic small company advantages to our corporate customers: rapid application development, and quick return on investment from innovation to business solutions. Legal Our official company information is at Finland's Business Information System. |
